AutoPay allows organisations to process Direct Debit payments in conjunction with their bank.  Currently used by over 100 Irish organisations.

 

Most Irish Banks can offer business customers the facility to process payments from customers by Direct Debit.  Direct Debits are submitted to each bank electronically by means of an EMT file which is in a specific format accepted by all Irish banks.

 

AutoPay is a simple to use software application which will allow you to create EMT files which can then be sent to your bank for processing.  This makes the processing and management of Direct Debits a simple task.

 

AutoPay also allows you to submit Credit (Payment) files to your bank which can be used to make electronic payments to Suppliers in the same way that Payroll payments are made electronically.

 

You can maintain a database of customers (and suppliers) including their bank account details.

 

As often as required you can select the required customers (or suppliers) and enter the amounts to be processed.  A file is then created which can be sent electronically to your bank using your existing on-line banking system.

 

AutoPay also allows you to setup regular schedules of customers to process (e.g. Monthly) with fixed amounts.

If you are considering the introduction of Direct Debit processing into your organisation you should in the first instance contact your Bank who will explain their requirements and assist you with the application process to become a Direct Debit Originator.

 

Please note that you will also need each customers permission to operate a Direct Debit system with them.  This is done by having each customer complete a Direct Debit Instruction Form.  We will provide you with a Direct Debit Instruction Form template when you purchase our AutoPay software.

AutoPay can be used in conjunction with your existing Accounting System.

Your existing system may already record the essential customer data including the amounts to be processed.  If it is possible to export this data, then it will be possible to import it into AutoPay and then create the EMT file.  We will provide the Import file format to you on request.

 

This means that you don't have to worry about modifying your existing Accounting System to create EMT files as this could be expensive and after all, we have done all the hard work so why should you spend time and money re-inventing the wheel!

 

AutoPay is sold on an Annual Licence basis, the Annual fee is €295 plus VAT at 23%.

AutoPay can be installed very quickly and we will provide you with comprehensive instructions.  Our telephone support team will also assist you with the initial setup.

 

Alternatively, one of our support team can visit your office to install the software and provide an introductory training session.  This takes between one and two hours.  The price for this depends on your location.  We will be happy to provide a quote for this service on request.
